| No it was basically the inspiration of most modern assault rifle (although it is extremely similar to the m60). I really dont know too much about wwII guns.

| Well in that case I dont know why we use any guns except the scar and knife. They are the best weapons ever. Besides if we give all our soldiers hardline and carepackages they can get unlimited airsupport anywhere outside. We could save so much on ammo explosives and fuel.
